Gurrami’s Recipes



  • 4 cups of preserved kumquats

  • 750 ml Vodka

  • 1 litter tightly sealed Sterilized jar


  1. Cut in half the kumquats and remove seeds (to get rid of undesirable bitterness).
  2. Slice remaining fruit into rounds, including peels.
  3. Add the kumquats into glass jar (NOT plastic)
  4. Pour 750ml vodka (type you like) over sliced kumquats and Seal tightly,
  5. Shake vigorously.
  6. Let vodka infuse in cool & dark place for 4 days.
