Gurrami’s Recipes



  • 10 clean, sliced kumquats
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 glass coconut oil
  • 200-250 cc orange juice
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup white flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Mash the fruit together with the wet materials and the sugar, until you get a puree.
  2. Add eggs, flour and baking soda.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C
  4. Pour into a lightly greased muffin tray, and bake until the muffins are ready (about 10-15 minutes).
